SEMINAR EXAMINATION
The Seminar examination is a closed book, timed examination that consists of two sections worth 400 points. You have two years from the time of your course enrollment to earn your certification.
Section I: This section is worth 200 points and consists of 100 total questions of which 50 are multiple choice and 50 are true and false questions. Each multiple-choice and true and false question is worth two points for a total of 200 points. You will have 100 minutes or 1 minute per question to answer all 100 questions in Section I.
Section II: This section is worth 200 points and consists of a 60 practical illustrated multiple-choice and matching questions, 3 Calculations and 1 Case Study. The 60 practical illustrated multiple-choice and matching questions are worth 2 points each for a total of 120 points. The 3 calculations, which include BMI, BMR and training heart rate, are worth 10 points each for a total of 30 points. The one Case study is worth 50 points. The entire section is worth 200 points. You will have 60 minutes or 1 minute per question to answer each of the 60 practical multiple-choice and matching questions and 60 minutes to answer the 3 calculation questions and 1 case study in Section II.
